World Music Day

Only two days back it was World Music Day. I honestly didn't know about it till half of the day had passed by. I spent the rest of the day on VH1 listening to their own broadcast of a world music day special. I wanted to do something more, to actually celebrate. There is not one day that goes by without music in our lives, correct me if i'm wrong. But i think i'm not. I personally listen to music quite often-while reading a novel, while doing maths or even right now while typing. We hear music everywhere, at our own homes, friends, parties, coffee shops. All the time. Now a days even work places play music! Whether you're happy, excited, sad, disappointed,guilty or nostalgic, music always makes you feel better. If nothing it will distract us from all the troublesome lives we lead. Sometimes music lets you express your emotions, you can dance to it or sing along or just cry along with the slow tunes. We may not realize it since we never pause and think about it, but music does play a very important part in all of our lives. its existed since time immemorial from caves to castles to buildings. And it will always be there. Its sad that not everyone gives it the credit it needs and deserves. Its like food or water or love. I cant imagine a world without it.

       

So to give it a little respect on the universal day of music, i made this. It basically depicts how the music affects our life. So remember next year, do your bit, recognize its importance and tell everyone about it! Belated Happy World Music Day!
